Getting started

  • What is the VOG, and how do I get it?

The VOG is a declaration on behaviour (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag). You need to request one following the instructions our personnel team has sent you in your contract email. You must submit this declaration within the first 3 months of employment.

  • What is YouForce, and how can I change the language?

YouForce is our Employee Information System, here you can find your pay slips and working conditions. You will have access to it once you have an account. For an English version, you need to go to MySettings>Internationaal>Stadaardtaal YouFroce, and change the language to English.

  • How can I get my salary slips?

Once you have access to YouForce, you should go to MySettings> E-mailservice salarisdossier> select the option that best suits you for the system to send an automatic email with your salary slip.

  • What are the possibilities for my personal development?

We want to support your development, which is why you have time for your courses/certificates/webinars that you think are relevant for you to learn and excel at work.

  • Where do I find information about my holidays and other types of leaves?

The Collective Labour agreement states that the standard annual working hours you need to achieve is 1659 hours for full-time employment. In principle, your holiday leaves will be linked to the holiday breaks mentioned in the academic calendar. Once you have access to HINT, you can use this link (for English) and this link (for Dutch) to find more information on different types of leaves.
